Philadelphia St. John Neumann point guard Quade Green is among the best at his position and his skills have been on display during EYBL.
“The summer is going well,” Green said. “We went 14-2 in the EYBL and I thought I played well at Pangos. I’m leading the EYBL in steals and assists, so I feel I am playing well.”
Schools have taken notice of 6-foot-0, 175-pound five-star prospect.
“Arizona, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State, Michigan, Louisville, and everybody really has offered and told me they want me to play on their team and be their point guard,” Green said.
The Wildcats have been aggressively recruiting Green and he has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff.
“Arizona tells me I am one of their top priorities at point guard and they feel I could challenge for a starting spot,” Green said. “I talk to Coach Book all the time and we have a great relationship.”
Green admits that the schools recruiting him are starting to sound the same, but he has a good idea of what will separate them.
“It sounds the same after a while, but I am going to be looking hard at education, a coach that is a father figure, and how comfortable I am with the coaches and the city,” he said.
In order to be able to do that, Green knows of at least a handful of schools he will visit this summer.
“I am going to go to Duke, Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville, and Xavier,” he said. “I will probably visit some other schools after the summer also.”
In terms of a decision, Green has a general idea of when he would like to end this recruiting process.
"I don’t have an exact day,” he said. “My goal is to be able to decide in the fall sometime.”
