Arizona makes the cut for Galen Alexander

Arizona recently made the cut for four-star wing Galen Alexander. Read on to see the other schools that joined the Wildcats and why.

As the summer continues, may top prospects take the next step in their recruitment and one such player is Lafayette (La.) wing Galen Alexander

“I cut my list down to seven,” Alexander said. I was going to wait until after the summer, but I decided that I wanted to cut my list to Marquette, LSU, Arizona, N.C. State, Western Kentucky, Memphis, and TCU.”

When cutting his list, there is one specific piece of criteria that kept coming back into play.

“Beside the school itself, my relationship with the coach is important,” Alexander said. “Also going into a system that fits my playing style, which is getting up and down the court and utilizing the wings as a big part of the offense.”

Not much will change as Alexander continues to go through the process and tries to find the best fit for him.

“My relationship with the coaches will be the main factor,” he said. “I’ll know which coaches really want me to be a part of their program.

“Some schools hit me up sometimes when they want to, but there are others like Arizona that recruit me hard and I know they truly want me.”

Speaking of Arizona, the Wildcats are in good shape to get an official visit from the 6-foot-6, 190-pound four-star.

“I don’t know any dates, but I know for sure I want to visit Arizona and Marquette” Alexander said. “I don’t have a timeline for a decision right now.”
