Arizona hosted numerous elite visitors this past weekend, one of which was 2018 Encino (Calif.) Crespi point guard Brandon Williams
“Everything went perfect, “ Williams said. “The fans there are second to none. To see all those people there for a scrimmage was unreal.”
Williams has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff and is drawn to the fact that Sean Miller was a point guard in college.
“At Arizona they have the best players and a coach who was a point guard, so it would be a great situation for me,” Williams said. “Arizona has been great and they are right there for me.”
At this point, Williams does not have any other visits scheduled.
“I’m done taking visits for now since my last few weekends have been used to take visits,” he said. “I need to continue to get better though, so that’s where I’m going to focus now.”
Williams has been a bit inconsistent as to when he would like to make a final decision, but knows he wants to take his time.
“I could decide at any point, just not sure when,” he said. “For now, I am just enjoying the process and hearing what coaches think I can do for their program.”
