Jaelen House looking for right fit

Jaelen House is one of the top players in Arizona. Read on to see where his recruitment stands and more.

Phoenix Shadow Mountain guard Jaelen House has been playing with the 17’s on the Adidas Circuit and is seeing his stock rise.

Arizona State recently offered, but Eddie House’s legacy will supposedly not have much of an impact on his son.

“After I got the offer from Arizona State I felt good, but I am trying to get more,” House said. “It is going to be about what fits me best, not about where they went.”

ASU is certainly not the only school involved with the 2019 point guard.

“Stanford, Arizona, Tulane, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and TCU are the main schools recruiting me right now,” he said. “If I had a top three right now it would be the Pac-12 schools.”

Arizona’s pitch to House is clear.

“Arizona produces point guards,” he said.”It’s Point Guard University. I’ve talked to their assistants a bit and same with ASU. I don’t think it has gotten too serious with those schools yet.

“They all pretty much tell me how they like how they play hard and defend and they like my ability to score.”

House has taken two unofficial visits and plans to take more in the future.

“I’ve seen games at ASU and GCU, but that is really it for now,” he said. “It’s cool to go see these teams in action. I want to visit Arizona, but there aren’t any plans right now.

“I want to find the best fit for me and if I get along with the coaching staff and the players.”
