Harvey Perry, Jr., a 6-4 combo-guard from Las Vegas (Foothills), Nev., received a surprise visit today. Perry has made no secret about his love for the Wildcats, however Arizona might be getting involved for naught. But only time will tell if the Cats are serious.
Perry got a surprise visit from Arizona
assistant Rodney Tention today.
With Isaiah Swann committed to Florida State and Shaun Livingston leaning in the direction of Duke, the Wildcats are looking at all their options to secure a commitment from a combo.
Perry has taken at least two unofficials to the UA campus and his father really likes the Wildcats. At this time Perry has not qualified and it might not happen. If he is a non-qualifier, Perry says he will attend prep school next year.
If Arizona gets involved and if Perry qualifies, I have to believe the Cats would have a better than even chance to get him.
Perry is considering Arizona State (the favorite at this time), California, Colorado, Indiana, Long Beach St, Oregon State, Texas Tech, UNLV and Washington.
