Cats Still Lead For Big Lineman

As far as recruiting goes it appears the coaching change has been a good and a bad thing. One player who was not thrilled with it but understands why it happened is Bill Wacholz. Bill has been to Tucson twice this fall on unofficial visits to the Oregon and LSU games. He will be back for an official visit in time and still has UA as the favorite.

"Arizona is still my top school followed by Washington State who is a close second, then Washington, Oregon State, and Oregon."

Bill went on to elaborate on the Mac situation.

"I really liked him a lot. He also did a great job of selling my parents on the program."

Despite Mac being gone the Wildcat staff and mainly Coach Bernstein is still recruiting Bill as heavily as anyone.

"I'd say them and Washington State are after me the hardest."

All schools involved like Bill as an offensive tackle. His team is 3-1 on the year. Wacholz carries a 2.8 GPA and scored a 980 on his SAT and a 17 on his ACT. He would like to major in Liberal Arts. Bill will schedule his official visit to Tucson soon.

Rancho Bernardo takes on Valley Center next.
