"I know Biren Ealy from back in the day and we still talk. He tells me he likes it there. I also think they have good coaches. I am thinking about taking a visit to see what they are about."

Coach Dickey is after Ratcliff for 'Zona.

Ratcliff has offers from all of his top schools including A&M, Arizona, Wisconsin, Colorado, Arkansas, and Kansas. Along with these offers he says he has around "20-30" total. Texas is still the team to beat for him. All of the others are even.

"Mack Brown told me that they want me to have a big year because they only recruit the best of the best. They are the only one of my top schools not to offer."

Ratcliff has not lined up any visits yet.

"My coach prefers for me to do that after the season."

Ratcliff says that his best attribute on the field is that he rises to the occasion when it's crunch time.

On the field this year he has 14 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown. He has taken a few snaps on defense as well and says he doesn't have a preference.

"I just want to be on the field."

Ratcliff carries a 3.2 GPA and scored an 860 on his firat SAT attempt, but will take it again this Saturday. He is undecided on a major.

Jersey Village takes on Cy Fair this Friday.
