Livingston To Play For Duke

Shaun Livingston, all 6-7 of him, is headed to Duke. That's right, after pondering his choices for quite some time; he decided to play for the Duke Blue Devils.

"I feel Coach K and Duke is the best fit for me," Livingston said.

Livingston, the MVP of adidas ABCD Camp averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists as a junior when he hit the game-winning jumper in the state title game. His team finished 31-1 on the season.

He had taken trips to Illinois, Duke and Arizona.

As a player, Livingston brings a variety of tools to the table. Blessed with tremendous vision, passing ability and an understanding of the game, he's been able to ignore the hype and focus on hoops.

Though he certainly needs strength, Livingston likes to take smaller guards down to the blocks and post them up. At 6-7, he's got a mismatch just about everywhere he goes.

Over the course of the last two years, Livingston has been on of single-most impressive guards in the nation. His 13-assist effort in the ABCD all-star game was, in our opinion, the best single-game effort of the summer. He played AAU ball with Verdell Jones' Ft. Sooy No Limit team.
