Tadman is tearing it up like no other this year. He has 38 catches for 800 yards and eight touchdowns. He has 80 yards rushing. He has thrown four touchdowns. On defense he has 46 tackles, one pick, eight passes broken up, two fumble recoveries, and one caused fumble. Marty also has three punt returns for touchdowns and one kickoff return.
He has led his team to a 9-0 record and Mission Viejo now holds the Orange County record for winning streaks with 37 in a row.
He really enjoyed his trip to Tucson.
"I loved it. It was awesome. I did not know that their campus was so nice. I really think I could play early there. Their two starting corners are seniors and I feel I can compete with the back-ups. It is possible for me to start as a true freshman or a redshirt freshman."
Tadman is being recruited to UA by Coach Bernstein.
"Coach Bernstein is a real nice guy. I could eaily play for a guy like that."
His host on the visit was fellow Californian Dane Krogstad.
"He was a cool guy and we also hung out with Richard(Kovalcheck) a lot and he was cool, too."
After the trip, 'Zona is clearly the team to beat.
"Everything was great. I loved the city. I loved the campus. I also really think I want to stay in the Pac Ten. It all depends now on who their coach is going to be. If a guy like Mike Stoops came in there I would probably commit immediately as long as I got to know the secondary coach he brought in with him. They are looking at a lot of good coaches. Norm Chow also seems like a great choice. I will take all of my visits and probably decide around the end of January. I will set up my other ones when the season's over. I will probably trip to Colorado State and Washington State. I might trip to Oregon, too. Also, USC if they offer."
Marty had a good friend of his join him on the trip.
"Justin Walsh was also there. I know he also really liked it."
Cat Tracks will try to catch up with Juston to get his impressions as soon as possible.
Mission Viejo takes on Capistrano Valley this Friday.
