"I committed a couple days ago. Everything just felt right with Arizona. I had thought about it hard pretty much every night for a month and just decided on Arizona. So I called Coach Bernstein to let him know that's where I wanted to be."

Wilson has taken two unofficial visits to Tucson. He was here for the summer camp and also unofficially for the LSU game with his parents. He will return for his official visit on December 12th. He also had a visit set for Colorado State but will cancel it.

He went on about why he committed.

"I think it is a really good situation there and I am really excited about it. They are about to hire a new coach and the guys they are looking at are all great so they cannot go wrong."

On the seaosn Wilson has 40 tackles and seven sacks for San Clemente. The team is heading into the second round of the playoffs on Friday versus Valencia after a first round defeat of Chino Hills.

Wilson says he likes the opportunity of his chance to play as a freshman and would like to get to a playing weight of 270.

He carries a 3.0 GPA and scored a 1000 on his SAT. He is thinking about Business as his major.
