YOUTH GONE WILD
Due to injuries and suspensions, the Wildcats had to play three freshmen among their top-four wide receivers. Redshirt freshman Mike Jefferson had. Two true freshman also saw plenty of time. Syndric Steptoe and walk-on Ryan Eidson had seven catches for 66 and two catches for 41 respectively. The Wildcats also used redshirt fresman quarterback Ryan O'Hara as a wideout in the redzone and late in the game and has his first career catch..

RACKING UP THE YARDS
Officially the Wildcats' first drive went 76 yards, but thanks to penalties the team actually gained 106 yards of total offense. Kris Heavner accounted for 92 of those yards either on the ground or in the air.
Mike Bell finished the game with 95 yards. Falling 80 short of 1,000.
The Wildcats said goodbye to a 11 seniors who are playing their final game in a Wildcat uniform.
