When asked who his favorite was he replied, "Arizona is my new No. 1 now and they have been since (Mike) Stoops got there. I had a visit from him two weeks before Christmas and it went very well."
Dennard has said in the past that he and teammate Uriah Marshall are like "peanut butter and jelly," they are so close. He insisted they wanted to go to the same school. But now his tune has changed a little.
"I am not sure if that is going to happen anymore. He is looking real hard at Arizona State and Washington. It could still happen but it might also be fun for us to compete against each other."
Even if the package deal does not include Marshall, it could include someone else very close to Dennard.
"A lot of people don't realize, but I have a brother who plays in New Jersey that is going to walk-on wherever I go to school. His name is Chris Crockett. He is one of the top players in Jersey and is being recruited by schools like Virginia Tech, but him and I are going to go to the same college."
Dennard caught 50 passes this year for 800 yards and eight touchdowns. On defense, he had five interceptions. In addition to his all-Phoenix and all-region honors - he earned honorable mention all-state status.
B.J. did not rule out committing if he likes his trip to 'Zona next weekend.
"It just might happen, we'll see."
He carries a 2.5 core GPA and scored an 820 on his SAT. He would like to major in Business and Communications.
