After visiting Arizona, it was rumored that Bobby McCoy had committed to the Cats just like his teammates McCollins Umeh and Dominic Patrick. He may have told the coaches that he was leaning to UA, but he still wanted to take trips to Arkansas and Texas A&M, which he did. After those trips he came back and after a few days was solid with Arizona.

"I love the coaches there and that is where I want to be."

Bobby cancelled a Notre Dame trip that was scheduled for this weekend. He also had offers from schools like Utah, Colorado, and Texas Tech.

He was recruited to the Cats by Coach Wolford, with help from Coach Williams and the two coaches were in Houston the other night where they met McCoy to grab a bite.

McCoy had 33 catches for 585 yards and nine touchdowns this year on his way to being named first team all-district.

He carries a 3.2 core GPA and scored a 950 on his SAT. Bobby would like to major in Engineering.
