"I'm very excited," Adams said. "What really held me back from committing earlier was my tests and going on my visits. After I passed my test and visited most of my schools I felt that Arizona was the good choice for me."
After visiting Kansas, Oregon, Cal and Arizona, the Wildcats became the natural fit.
"It's close to my home which is California. I like the coaches, I like the players and I felt comfortable here," Adams said.
The 6-4 Adams should be able to step in and play right away. His versatility is a key as he can play both the two (off guard) and the three (wing forward). Adams said he has no preference.
"It really doesn't matter, the two or the three is fine as long as I am on the floor, on the team, ready to play."
Apparently the Wildcats have been the favorite for quite a while, but Adams decided to wait and investigate other programs. Despite pressure from friends and family, waiting only reaffirmed his decision to become a Wildcat.
"I decided to wait, to respect the other coaches who were recruiting me," Adams said. "I was going to take my visits to make sure I make the best decision for me. My family wanted me to wait a while and I wanted to wait to make sure."
So what does the newest Wildcat want Arizona fans to know about him?
"I'm a hard working person. I never give up. I play hard and I'm excited to play at Arizona. I'm really excited."
