"Arizona, Arizona State, Texas, Miami, and Florida are my early favorites," says Jones. "I'd say Texas is the leader. I was born there and wouldn't mind going back."

Jones will be attending the upcoming UA Junior Day and has this to say about the Cats.

"I have grown up around the campus and they might be pretty good now with Stoops coming in."

Cody has already received correspondence from UA, ASU, UCLA, Texas, Miami, and Florida. An Arizona State coach has already came by the school.

He plans on attending the San Diego State Nike Camp and a couple others over the summer. He is not sure which ones yet.

When asked to lists his strengths Jones responded, "I have good speed for my size and I also have good awareness and vision."

Cody will be playing the tight end spot for the first time this year and is curious about the possibilities.

"I am hopeful that I can become a great one. I have played quarterback and d-end since I was in Pop Warner so this will be something new for me."

Jones carries a 3.25 core GPA and will take his ACT in April. He is thinking of a major in Communications or Business and would eventually like to be a Financial Advisor.
