Juniors to Watch: Mesa Mountain View

Coach Tom Joseph might have the best kicking game in the state this year between Punter Tate Ash and Kicker Kenny Golladay. He also has one of the better offensive line prospects in Dusty Jones. We take a look at all three.

Dusty Jones was a first team all-region and honorable mention all-state selection as a junior. He mans the center position for MMV. Dusty stands at 6-1, 275 pounds and runs a 5.1 40.

"As he becomes stronger he will be a lot better," says Coach Tom Joseph. "He is doing that right now and I think he will be able to finish people this year."

Tate Ash was a second team all-East Valley selection as a junior. He averaged 39.7 yards per punt.

"We expect him to average 44 yards a punt this year. He also plays tight end and linebacker for us. Tate is also an excellent pitcher on our baseball team."

Kenny Golladay was a first team all-East Valley pick as a junior. He did 82 kickoffs with 10 of them going out of the back of the endzone. 32 of them went into the endzone. Was three for five on field goal attempts with a long of 47.

We will be catching up with all of these players in the near future for interviews.
