Juniors to Watch: Highland

Coach Preston Jones told us about two juniors he has for next year that he feels will receive quite a bit of attention. Both offensive lineman Richard Tuitu'u and tight end Shaun Fitzpatrick were in attendance for UA's Junior Day festivities over the weekend. We get the goods on both players.

Richard Tuitu'u is a 6-4, 275 pound lineman prospect that runs the 40 in 5.4 seconds. Highland just did their testings last week so the most recent numbers on him are a 317 clean, 333 bench, and a 400 pound squat.

He was a second team all-region selection as a junior.

"He has outstanding feet and is only 16 so he is still very young," says Coach Jones. "He is a hard worker and we have high expectations for him."

Shaun Fitzpatrick is a 6-3, 235 pound tight end/defensive end prospect that runs the 40 in 4.8 seconds. His most recent numbers include a 285 clean, 310 bench, and a 400 squat.

He was second team all-east Valley, first team all-region, and honorable mention all-state as a junior. He had 40 catches for around 500 yards and eight touchdowns.

"He has unbelievable hands and is a great leader."

We will be catching up with both players very soon for interviews.
