"I'd say my top schools are Arizona, California, Notre Dame, Stanford, and Vanderbilt," said Fitzpatrick.

The Cats put themselves in a good spot after the weekend.

"The coaches were great at Arizona. I love everything they got going on there. I enjoyed the atmosphere."

Shaun plans on coming back to Tucson to view some of the UA's Spring Practices and will also be here for the summer camp. He was invited to the San Diego State Nike Camp and will most likely attend. He says he will visit one or two other camps as well.

Fitzpatrick is used at Highland as a linebacker, tight end, and long snapper. He says he would prefer to go to the next level as a tight end.

"I think I have great hands for the position. I am a pretty strong player and I am very good at going up for the jump balls."

Shaun is receiving early interest from many Pac Ten schools and he is also hearing from institutions in the Ivy League. His brother is the starting quarterback at Harvard and Shaun himself carries a 4.3 core GPA on a 4.0 scale. He takes all honors courses.
