Latest On Anthony Goods

Anthony Goods, one of the better guards in the class of 2005, says a Pac-10 school has just recently started to recruit him...

We spoke with Anthony Goods, 6-2 PG/SG Corona (Calif.) Centennial, in Las Vegas last weekend.

We asked Goods if any new schools have gotten involved recently.

"Cal has been calling lately -- they kind of came out of nowhere," said Goods. "Arizona are still calling as well."

We asked Goods about other schools that have expressed serious interest and he replied, "San Digo, Pacific, Colorado State are all coming to my high school soon to meet. UCLA and Arizona said they will schedule meetings at my school."

When questioned about the timing of official visits, Goods said, "I won't take any official visits until after the summer."

CAT TRACKS ANALYSIS: Goods is good, but is he "Arizona good"? The Wildcat coaches sure seem to be evaluating him in an effort to find out. The Cats' top priority at combo guard is Mario Chalmers, but if Goods shows he can play both guard spots, then he could rocket up their list.
