Player Checklist

Louis Williams, SG, South: The Georgia-bound guard bested Ed Nelson's tournament record for points in a game by 5 as he hung 46 on the East. Williams launched 32 shots in 40 minutes, making 16 of them. Williams got himself to the line 14 times and was able to score a ton of points at the bucket. He's scored a ton of points here despite shooting just 5-for-22 from behind the arc.

Tasmin Mitchell, SF, South: After leading his team to the 3-on-3 championship, Mitchell shot 7-for-10 for 15 points and 9 rebounds. This is the most competitive kid at the camp and he's turned himself into an outstanding teammate.

Keith Brumbaugh, SF, South: He's motored along fairly quietly here in Colorado Springs and has been solid in each game. He had 17 and 13 in the morning and to his credit has eliminated the bad shots from his repertoire this week. He's gone often to what might become his trademark, a little runner he likes to shoot from mid-range.

Andray Blatche, PF, East: He was having a very good game until a second half slowed him down some. Blatche finished with 15 and 13 but it was his length and athleticism that gave the southern bigs something to deal with. When he's active and bouncy inside like he was today he's an entire level higher player.

Josh McRoberts, PF, North: The big fella understands the basic concept of camp basketball: guards have the ball in their hands and shoot it often. Therefore, McRoberts has done the wise thing and gone to the glass. His 13 points paled in comparison to his 20 rebounds.

2006 Checklist

Brandan Wright, PF, South: USA Basketball credited him with 3 blocks; we charted him and gave him a festival high 8. The guy was all over the court. He affected the game without scoring and has played his role as first big man off the South bench extremely well. In fact, Richard Hendrix was cast in that role last season for the South and you saw how far along he's come.
