Right now, Perry and his Arizona Magic Blue team are playing in the Fullcourt Press All-West camp.
Perry Sr., said his son commited to the Huskies primarily because of their style of play and that head coach Lorenzo Romar personally
Perry, who was a senior last year at Foothill, is qualified, according to Harvey Sr., but sources close to the situation expect Perry to attend Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, much like what another Washington player - Joel Smith - did.
Harvey has been playing in Spring and Summer events and impressed many colleges, especially the Pangos Summer Shootout. He was now getting considerable interest from many high majors.
"He's quick and has a great body," said Pierson, having watched Perry play the last couple of days. "He's a potential NBA point guard.
Right now he's playing his butt off and all sorts of schools are on him. Arizona was starting to look at him pretty hard."
Anthony Ray, who runs the Arizona Magic program, told PrepWest Hoops that Perry has an offer from Arizona, but that offer has never
been confirmed by Harvey.
