40 time: 4.44 (L.A.'s fastest teen comp.), (4.35) school track

"I would say Arizona is my number four school right now behind USC, Cal, and Michigan," said Thomas. "I love coach Stoops, that is the main reason I like Arizona. I like what he has been telling me when we speak. He told me that basically every defensive back he has coached over the last four years has gone onto the NFL so he is someone who could definitely help me get to that next level. He is a guy you can trust when he says something like that because he knows from experience."
Kevin now has offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado, Colorado State, Washington, Washington State, UA, Michigan, USC, Nebraska, Fresno State, and Utah. After battling it out with Cal as the co-leaders for Thomas, USC is now in the pole position. His parents also favor the Trojans.
Kevin was recently one of the finalists in the L.A.'s fastest teen competition. He went into the semi-finals versus Long Beach star DeSean Jackson, whom also holds a UA offer, but lost in the end. "I had him for the first 25 yards and then he caught me and passed me at the end," explained Thomas.
DeSean went on to lose in the finals against Compton Dominguez track star, Lynell Larry. Kevin posted a 4.44 40 in the tournament. This summer he camped at USC, Fresno State, and the San Diego State Nike Combine, in addition to the MSL combine.
Thomas has not scheduled any official visits yet. School starts for him September Third and Rio Mesa's first game is against San Marcos on September 10th.
He carries a 2.7 core GPA but says it will be higher after landing an 'A' and a 'B' in two summer school courses. He scored an 830 on his SAT and would like to major in Kinesiology.
