"We have alumni there from Narbonne," said Garrett of the University of Arizona. "Brandon Manumaleuna went there and now he's in the league. Arizona offers a great education and I hear nothing but good things about the program and Coach Stoops. It is also close to home and my parents would like that. I have family in Tempe, too."

Kevin has written offers from UA, Oregon, Washington State, and San Jose State. "If I had to commit today it would be to Arizona or Oregon. I also like Washington State, LSU, UCLA, and Notre Dame."

The Cougars were the first team to offer.

Coach Tui and (Mark) Stoops are recruiting the strong safety/outside linebacker for the Cats. "Right now I'd say that Oregon, LSU, and Washington State are recruiting me the hardest."

He has not scheduled any visits yet but plans to do so soon.

Garrett carries a 2.6 core GPA and scored a 900 on his SAT. Narbonne gets their season underway versus Dorsey High September 10th.
