Setting up visits

Richardson Berkner DT Trey Bryant has several offers. Standing at No. 56 in the state of Texas, the 6-2, 280-pounder is someone to pay attention to...

"My top teams are BYU, Baylor, Arizona, Houston and Tulane," Bryant said. "But my top two would be BYU and Baylor."

The Dallas area DT said after tripping to Provo, Utah for an unofficial, he's quite fond of the Coogs...

"I really liked the facilities, the coaches and how everything seems to be based on the football program," Bryant explained. "Everybody there is close to the football program."

Bryant said Brigham Young offensive coordinator Todd Bradford is currently the primary recruiter for the Coogs. As for what has Baylor sittin' pretty, Bryant said, "I really like their coaches. It's close to home so my mom could come see me play. And, I already have a teammate (Jason Lamb) committed there."

The Bears have assistant coach/offensive line coach Chris Lancaster tasked with the responsibility of bringing in the Richardson Berkner prep.

Official visit agenda?

"I've been trying to email the coaches to set those up, but right now I have BYU scheduled for September (3-5), Baylor October (8-10)," Bryant said.

"I emailed the Arizona coaches to see if I can come in the weekend they play Wisconsin (September 17-19) and the Mississippi State coaches when they play Florida (October 29-31)," Bryant continued. "And I'm going to take an unofficial to Houston for their Thursday game against Miami (September 23)."
