C.J. Miles Will Take Two More Visits

C.J. Miles came back from Lawrence, Kan., raving, but the Skyline High (Texas) senior has decided to take a pair of visits - and eliminate two schools.

There's no doubt that C.J. Miles enjoyed his visit to Kansas, but the Skyline High (Texas) 6-6 senior swingman will explore other options before making a decision.

Miles has eliminated both Arizona and North Carolina and will now choose from Kansas, Georgia Tech and Texas.

``He went to Kansas and the fans treated him well," said Team Texas coach Wes Grandstaff. "But they still want something to compare it to."

So, Miles will take visits to both Texas and Georgia Tech before making a final decision.

Miles was slated to visit Arizona on Sept. 10 and was scheduled to head to North Carolina the following weekend.

Grandstaff said that no dates have been set with Texas and Georgia Tech, although it's likely that one of them – if not both – could come the weekends of the previously scheduled visits to Arizona and North Carolina.

CAT TRACKS' ANALYSIS: This is a blow to the Wildcats, but not a crushing one. The Cats knew it would be tough to land Miles. After his visit to Kansas it sounds as if the Jayhawks will be tough to beat. The Cats now turn their attention to Julian Wright and Martell Webster and could take a much longer look at Marcus Williams.
