Kevin Meagher is one of those players that hasn't been offered that you know will be eventually. He has great technique, strength and was one of the better players TheInsiders witnessed this summer at the numerous combines and camps we attended. He said in the past that he would jump on a UA offer, but now that the Cats have filled up on the O-line for this class his only chance of coming to Tucson would be as a walk-on."> Kevin Meagher is one of those players that hasn't been offered that you know will be eventually. "I am not sure what the deal is on an offer," explained Meagher. "I went to the Colorado State camp and Coach Lubick told me that they would have a spot for me soon after the camp, but that he couldn't really talk recruiting with me while I was there. I never received an offer or anything and I really liked CSU. At the UCLA camp, coach (offensive line coach Tom) Cable told me that I was probably the top guy there but that I am an inside guy and they are looking for tackles. He told me that we'll see how things pan out."

If UA lost a commit from this class or decides they need another center prospect, Kevin would definitely be interested. "My defensive coordinator played there and he tells me what a good school it is. If they show me more interest I would listen to them, for sure."

Kevin attended the Oregon one-day, USC overnight, UCLA one-day, and CSU one-day camps over the summer. He also went to the TheInsiders/MSL L.A. and Oregon Nike Combines.

After seeing so many college campuses, Meagher has changed his top schools list a little. "I don't have a favorite, but I really like San Diego State, USC, Colorado State, UCLA, UTEP, Arizona, and Oregon. San Diego State seems to like me a lot. I think if any school is close to offering, it's them."

His parents have said what they are looking for in a school. "My parents don't really have a favorite. They just want me to go to a place with good academics because not every player goes pro after college. So they want me to be able to have a good life after college if things don't work out."

Kevin carries a 3.15 core GPA and scored an 1130 on his SAT.

Servite plays Huntington Beach Edison in the first game of the season, tomorrow night.
