"It might have been the best weekend of my life," raved Barresi. "If there was ever a doubt in my mind about if I made the right decision, or not, it has been completely removed. I am going to have to change my idea of what a scale of one to ten is because this was definitely higher than a ten."
One of the main things Barresi enjoyed in Tucson was all of the mountain ranges. "You don't get to see any mountains in Oklahoma. The coaches drove us around to the different mountains and it was just awesome. I cannot even tell you how excited I am to get there at mid-year and start attending school and living there. I am so ready it is ridiculous. I am practically counting the days."
He had a chance to meet all of the other recruits and hang out with them. "Those are all my boys now. I look at this class coming in and I really think we are goingto be something special. The situation at Arizona could not be any better right now."
His host on the trip was Eddie Rollman. "I really liked him and he was just telling me how much I would love it there and I can totally see where he's coming from. The people were great and the coaches were great. Everyone is so cool there. Coach Wolford and I are a lot closer after the visit. I can't wait to play for him. Him and Coach (Mike) Stoops are still the main reason I am going there. They are two great guys."
Barresi is thinking about making a return trip to Tucson for fall break with a teammate of his. "My teammate, Kellen Graham, is real excited to go check it out after everything I have told him. He might even think about walking-on there. He is a receiver."
North High is 3-0 on the year including victories over then no.2 Santa Fe and no.5 Putnam North. They are now ranked no.2 in the state behind traditional power, Jenks.
The O-lineman says that the in-state Sooners are still trying to get in his ear. "They will call to talk to Ben and just say 'hand the phone to Joe' after they talk to him. I can tell you right now that there is no way I am de-commiting. I absolutely love Arizona. I might as well get it tattooed on my body."
