"I am going to Cal November 20th and USC probably the first weekend in December," explained Thomas. "Coach Williams and I were talking about when I would take my visit there and my guess is that it will be the weekened after the 'SC trip. I know I will visit Arizona for sure, and then the last two will be out of Washington State, Michigan, and Oregon."

Thomas said that the same two schools are standing out in his recruitment. "Cal and 'SC are still at the top and USC is my leader. They are also my parents' favorite. 'SC is kind of at at an advantage because they are closer so we can talk to and see them more than any of the other schools. They call and talk to my parents as much as they call and talk to me. I am pretty sure that is where I'm going and I have told their coaches that, but I definitely want to take my trips just to make sure."

The top corner prospect has helped his team to a 2-0 start and he has performed well. Thomas has 13 tackles and one interception on defense, which he returned for a 40-yard touchdown. On offense, he has six carries for 50 yards and six receptions for 95 yards.

In the last month he has added UCLA and San Diego State to his fairly long list of written offers which now stands at 14.

Rio Mesa looks to head to 3-0 versus Agoura.
