"The coaching staff there (Nebraska) is great and coaches (John) Blake (DLs) and (Turner) Gill (WRs) are some nice cool guys. They have a great winning tradition too. They didn't too well this past weekend against Texas Tech, but they're still a good school. I like how they open the offense up over there and how they've been passing the ball more.
"My official visit to Arizona (9/24) was great. The highlight of the experience was going to the game and meeting the team. They played well against Washington State, but ended up losing by one point. I thought that they had a nice crowd. It looked packed to me but the players were telling me that more people usually show up than what was there.
"I'd say the low-point of the trip was that everything there seemed dead on Friday night. It was like the whole campus had died. And I'm not used to doing nothing on a Friday night.
"My host was Ronnie Palmer (LB) and we also hung out with his friend who plays basketball for the school, Jawann McClellan (FR). We had fun shooting some hoops and checking out the facilities. We also had a good dinner together over at McMann's Steakhouse. They showed me around the dorms and we basically talked about the university.
"The coaches didn't pressure me to commit, and I made sure to emphasize that I wasn't going to commit until after the season. I like how they throw the ball a lot and they've got a decent QB in Kris Heavner, but he's not all that good. They need a lot of help at the WR spot. I could make a big impact there in the next couple years if I went there.
"I don't know too much about Missouri but the coaches have been calling me a lot and sending me stuff about stats and game summaries.
"Coach (Travis) Jones (rec coord/DLs) wants to get me over to LSU for a visit soon as a recruit."
La Fell says he will also officially visit Nebraska, Missouri (11/5), Colorado and Utah.
