Pertaining to the unique environment College Station offers, Oghobaase said, "It's exciting. The crowd is LOUD and the fans are great. The crowd is just really into it. It was fun. I went with my mom."
And what did Vince's mom, Florence Oghobaase have to say about the Ags?
"The camaraderie there is great," Mrs. Oghobaase told Scout.com. "It's just super -- very exciting. We couldn't stay for the whole game because I had a 5:00 appointment. We ended up being about an hour late. But the game was exciting and I enjoyed it."
Asked if being able to jump in a car and be in College Station in an hour or two was a major factor for her and the family, Mrs. Oghobaase said, "Distance has never been a factor for us. We're looking for a combination of what the schools have to offer academically, what kind of academic support they have and early playing time. We'll do our best to get out to Vince's games wherever he decides to go."
Of course, Maroon and White fans would like to know how their school stacks up against the rest of the schools on Vince's list per the criteria laid out above.
"I think they (TAMU) stack up very well," Mrs. Oghobaase said.
Back to VO and the rest of his interview...
"So far, I have taken unofficial visits to check out games to A&M (Colorado game) and to U of H (Miami game) and one official visit to Oklahoma State (SMU game). I have four official visits left to take and I will take all four. I'm now down to just six schools. So one of them will not get an official visit. I haven't decided who that's going to be yet."
Oghobaase knocked LSU off of his list and now sports just six teams...
