Bayless is hearing from everyone, but we asked him which programs have some appeal to him at this point.
"North Carolina, Arizona and Louisville are four that I like," said Bayless.
When we asked if there are any programs that he's not hearing much from that would interest him, Bayless replied, "Probably Wake Forest."
When questioned about his perception of which schools are recruiting him hardest so far, Bayless replied, "Probably the four that I mentioned."
Bayless talked about some the issues that will play a role in his decision and he said, "How they develop players -- how many of their players go to the NBA. And, of course, their academics."
We asked Bayless about playing time and location. He said, "Playing time is important -- I want to play right away. Location doesn't matter."
When questioned about the timing of his decision, Bayless said, "Probably the fall of my senior year. My parents want me to wait to make sure of my decision."
We asked Bayless if his parents have any preference, in terms of staying close to home, and he replied, "My parents want the best place for me -- that's where they want me to go -- whatever the best place is for me."
Bayless said style of play could play a role in his decision. "I want to go someplace where they like to run -- where they let the players play."
Due to his ability to score, and his size, Bayless could play either guard spot in college. We asked if he has a preference and he said, "I could play either position -- I don't really have a preference.
Bayless told us that he currently has a 3.5 GPA.
CAT TRACKS' ANALYSIS: Bayless is a top recruit for the Wildcats. The coaches have been out to see him many times and love the potential that he has. Bayless is a big time player and with some further development he could become an instant impact player.
