"I am going to Colorado this weekend," said the always upbeat Fevaea'i Ahmu. "I am leaving after my game on Friday night and will be going by myself. I am really excited to get out there and compare them with Arizona.

"Arizona is still my favorite right now, but that is the only place I have been on a trip to."

Ahmu has also scheduled trips with Washington State (November 20th) and San Diego State (December 3rd). He has written offers from WSU, UA, and SDSU. "I am not sure why Colorado hasn't offered me yet."

He has one trip available and it could possibly go to an L.A. school.

"The last trip is still open. I like those four schools, but I also still like UCLA and USC. UCLA has offered me verbally and USC called me today. I am not sure why neither of those schools have offered me officially yet, but they are keeping me in line and something could end up happening."

The d-tackle says the ones recruiting the hardest at this point are Washington State, Arizona, and Colorado.

He insists that all trips will be taken before any kind of decision is made. "I am going to ride it out. My parents and I have a chart up that lists all the positives and negatives of every school. So at the end of it, the school with the most positives will be the one I choose."

The only trip his parents will accompany him on is the one to SDSU.

Ahmu has 70 tackles and 10 sacks on the year for 5-4 Serra. They take on Mission Bay, this Friday.
