"I am excited to go there," said Lockett. "I have been speaking with Coach Canales every week and they are recruiting me the hardest, with Utah."

Diamond Bar ended their season last week with a 28-25 loss to Ayala. Lockett finished the year with 27 catches for 491 yards. On defense, he had 47 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception for a touchdown.

He is being recruited on both sides of the ball, but is more partial to playing receiver.

The Wildcats used to be his leader, but that has now changed. "Out of my final five I would say UCLA is in front. I scheduled a visit with them for December 17th. It is a good school that I wouldn't mind attending."

He also has visits scheduled with Utah (Dec.10th), Oregon State (Jan.7th), and Colorado (Jan.14th). He may, or may not make all of the trips. "We'll see what happens."

None of the above schools were the first choice of his parents. "They really wanted me to go to USC, but they are out of the picture since they aren't showing too much interest."

Cat Tracks will catch up with Lockett after his visit in two weeks to get his thoughts.
