Cats win defensive struggle

Arizona was forced to play Michigan's game, but outlasted the Wolverines 61-60 in overtime to advance to the finals of the Preseason N.I.T.

The Wildcats shot a terrible 32.8% but outrebounded the Wolverines to take the win. Michigan was terrible from the free throw line making just 9-of-17 from the charity strip.

Mustafa Shakur led the Cats with 13 points and six assists. Channing Frye had a horrible night offensively, but his 13 rebounds were crucial in the win.

The Cats will now face No. 1 Wake Forest on Friday with a chance to win their fourth N.I.T.
