Jawann McClellan. The freshman had a career high 11 points, seven in the second half and overtime. He added four rebounds and most importantly played great defense.
PLAY OF THE GAME
Jawann McClellan runs the baseline and Channing Frye finds him with a sharp pass that leads to a reverse lay-in. The bucket was one of the few times a Wildcats was rewarded for moving without the ball. It also gave them a three-point lead in overtime.
Chris Hunter appears to have an easy slam dunk that will put the Wolverines in the lead. Instead of conceding the dunk, Adams goes for the swat and commits a hard foul. Hunter makes 1-of-2 and the Cats hold on for the win.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Lute Olson has never lost at Madison Square Garden. He is now 9-0 with the Wildcats and 10-0 overall. The Wildcats have won 14 straight in the NIT and are 14-1 overall in the event.
Michigan had a seven-game win streak in both postseason and preseason N.I.T. events ended by the loss.

Arizona outrebounded Michigan 48-34. Ivan Radenovic had 10 boards and Channing Frye had 13.
