Hall Ends Up All-District (free content)

Corey Hall recently finished his season for DeSoto, and it was a fine one. The UA coaches have been coming by his school very often lately.

"Coach (Mark) Stoops," came by last week," said the 5-10 1/2, 180 pound safety prospect. "He was just dropping by to see how we were. The other coaches have also came by."

Hall says that many other schools continue to come through the halls of DeSoto to see if they can still get in on him, and his UA commit teammates. But their coach has been doing a good deed for the Wildcat staff. "He is telling everyone we are committed and going to Arizona."

The safety propsect says that it had been a long time since he had heard from another school at his residence, until today. "Some small school from Kansas called me and told me they were interested in me. Then I told them I was committed and they hung up," he said laughing.

Hall has been told by the UA staff that he will play at the strong or free safety position. Also that he could be used in nickel situations.

He was selected first team all-district this fall after recording five picks and three forced fumbles.

Hall visited back for the Wisconsin game. He carries a 4.5 core GPA on a scale of 6.0 at DeSoto and registered a 22 on his ACT. He would like to major in Business at Arizona.
