Reed was a first team all-league selection as a junior after rushing for 350 yards and seven touchdowns on offense. He added six sacks on defense and honorable mention all-state honors. "On offense my main position is fullback and on defense it is at end," explained Reed. "My guess is that I'll end up at fullback in college."

Reed and teammate Cody Jones paved the way for the Sabercats' success this past season. His success is translating into recruiting attention and he has a few schools in mind early on. "Right now I am interested in any school that is divison one. Obviously USC would be a great place to go. That is my dream school and I have always wanted to go there. I would like to stay along the west coast if I can."

In-state, both the Cats and Devils look to be players for his services. "I have not visited Arizona State yet, but I do like Phoenix. I know they are trying to be the largest school in the nation and I like that. They have a great athletics program.

"Arizona has a great coach now and they are improving. They have a great weight room and staff. I went to their senior camp last year and I will probably go again this year."

Reed really loves the game and even plays other sports just to help him with football. "I have good size and good foot speed. I am working on improving my strength and wrestling is helping with that. I also run track. On the football field my favorite thing is hitting."

He carries a 3.0 core GPA and recently took his pre-SAT. Reed would like to major in Business.
