Other schools he likes include Georgia, Nebraska, San Diego State, and Colorado. "I don't have a favorite right now. I just want to get a scholarship somewhere and prove that I can play ball at a higher level."

Dowd defines his skills on the field. "I have a nose for the ball so I can find it easily. I play the game with great intensity."

He carries a 2.6 core GPA and scored a 1080 on his Pre-SAT. Dowd would like to major in Business or Engineering.
