"I think Arizona has real good coaches," said Jeff Jones. Everything down there is nice. Everybody I met treated me real well. Arizona has a good medical program and I would like to major in Radiology."

The Cats are on his list with Arizona State, Michigan, Notre Dame, UCLA, Utah, and Washington State. "Arizona State is my top school because they got on me the earliest. They tell me they are going to be offering soon. They were my favorite team growing up and they are also my parents' favorite school."

ASU has also been sending Jones the most mail. Another factor working in their favor is that Jones grew up with ASU freshman tight end, Andrew Pettes. "He is like my older brother. My mom grew up with his dad so we have an old family connection. He tells everyone we are brothers so I just go along with it. We still talk everyday."

It is unknown what position schools are going to like Jones at. He could be a stellar defensive end or tight end. "I like both spots the same. It makes no difference to me where I play."

He has the desire to succeed. "I work hard and I love to compete. My mission is to always work harder than the man next to me."

Jones carries a 2.4 core GPA and will take his SAT on March 12th.
