"When I went down there it was great," said Williams. "I really liked the coaches and they have nice facilities. Everyone that I met treated me real nice. Arizona is my favorite right now."

He had a chance to speak with Coach (Mike) Stoops while in town. "He told me that I could play whatever position I want for them. I think my future is at defensive end."

Others on his early list include Arizona State, UCLA, Michigan, Oregon, UTEP, Cal, and Texas Tech. The Sun Devils have sent Williams a written offer.

His family has their own favorites. "My brother likes UA, my mom likes ASU, and I am not sure where my dad's favorite is." He does have some grade issues that will need to be worked out as he carries a 2.2 core GPA. He'll be taking his ACT very soon and is unsure of what he would like to major in.
