Carr is a quick, slasher type who has great potential. He is one of the better runners in Texas. In addition to being a standout runner, he is also a good receiver out of the backfield.
2002 Projection: Carr will be in a battle to be the third half back. Along with fellow true freshmen Ra'Shawn Moseley and Gilbert Harris, Carr will have a tough time beating out returners like Gainus Scott and possibly Tremaine Cox and Anthony Fulcher (if they move from fullback). Most likely Carr will redshirt.

Mosely is a small, but speedy and productive back. He rushed for 1125 yards and 15 TD's on 125 carries. He is said to possess terrific vision and outstanding balance. He played in the US Army East/West All-Star game this season. He is also a terrific kick returner.
2002 Outlook: Mosely may have a leg up on the other freshman RB's as he may run back kicks and can also play receiver. He is a skilled runner who has blazing speed. Most likely he is a candidate to redshirt, but he may very well see the field this fall.

Harris was another early commitment, verballing in August. He's a big back with great speed, strength and balance. He's a similar player to Clarence Farmer. He's been a HB, but could also play FB, WR or even ILB. He has the speed and ability to be an impact runner, but the tools to make a move. Tom Lemmings has him rated as the 98th best player in the Soutwest Region (Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana).
