Maryvale Safety Favors the Cats

<b>Deyon Bowser</b> is the cousin of UA cornerback prospect from Maryvale, <b>Brantwon Bowser</b>. Deyon is making a name for himself and could become quite the commodity with a strong senior campaign. He has the vitals to be a success and the Cats are number one on his list.

"I think UA is a good school and they will have a better program next year," says Bowser. "I really like their weight room. They seem like they are going to be a very strong team in the future."

Behind the Cats, he is listing Arizona State, Michigan, UCLA, Oregon, and Texas Tech.

As a junior, Deyon Bowser had 43 tackles and two fumble recoveries (one returned 84 yards for a touchdown). Bowser was named honorable mention all-league.

"I play the game with great intensity. I like to get everyone around me as motivated and intense as I am out on the field. I want all of my teammates to feed off of me."

Bowser was going to attend the Michigan junior day last month but says something came up. He plans on visiting ASU for their junior day.

He carries a 2.7 core GPA and has not scheduled to take either of his tests yet. He would like to major in Engineering.
