Brophy LB is One to Watch

<b>Cole Graybill</b> recently transferred to Brophy Prep in Phoenix from Stephenville HS in Stephenville, TX. As a junior, he recorded 72 tackles, four passes broken up, two fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. On offense, he had three catches for 25 yards. Graybill was named first team all-region. The Cats are one of his early favorites as he has lived most of his life in AZ. He attended junior day.

"I love the climate in Arizona," says Cole Graybill. "Arizona is my home state so I have always liked the U of A. I went to the junior day in Tucson and was very impressed."

Other schools on his list include Arizona State, Boston College, Texas Christian, Michigan, Texas Tech, and UCLA. "I don't have a favorite."

Although he claims no leader, he has always been very fond of the Sun Devils. "My grandpa, Dave Graybill, played four sports at ASU and is in the hall of fame there for all of them; basketball, baseball, football, and track. My uncle was a pitcher there in the 80's and my mother also graduated from there. I like the coaches at ASU. I was at a practice last week and I really like the surroundings. Almsot all of my family lives in Phoenix, too."

He'll be returning to Tempe for their upcoming junior day. He was also invited to junior days at Oregon, UCLA and Miami but could not attend any of them.

Graybill plans on attending ASU's one-day camp.

He is currently on spring break in Boston and visiting Boston College, unofficially.

The linebacker carries a 3.2 core GPA and scored an 1140 on his Pre-SAT. He is taking the SAT on May 7th. Graybill would like to major in Business or Law.
