Arizona RB gaining attention

Peoria (Ariz.) running back Tim House (5-9, 190, 4.4) says Nebraska leads slightly over Arizona, Northwestern, Arizona State and Oregon. He has no offers.

"I like Nebraska the most out of the schools in my top five, but it's a slight lead they've got, especially over Arizona and Northwestern," says House, from Centennial High School. "I'd say those three schools are recruiting me the hardest right now.

"I'm in contact with the coaches at Nebraska and I talk with coach (Bill) Busch (safeties) at least once a week. They've had a history of recruiting other small backs, so I think my size would fit them great at that position. I like their style of running the ball.

"Arizona coaches come to my school often because we've got some players that are going to be going there next year, so I've been able to speak with a lot of the coaches. They've got nice facilities and a nice cafeteria. I just get a good feeling all around with the coaches and the campus.

"I don't know that much about Northwestern but some of the coaches there have been sending me a lot of handwritten letters, and they seem like they're expressing a lot of interest in me," he says.

House attended Arizona's JR Day in late February and will be at Arizona State's JR Day on April 16.

"I might also go to Miami's JR Day in the next couple weeks and this summer I want to visit Arizona, Arizona State and Nebraska.

"I want to make this decision after the football season so that I know what school is the right fit for me.

"I've got great lateral quickness and I evade defenders well. I can also find the holes in the offensive line well too. I want to work on my blocking and faking out players on defense better. I also would like to increase my speed," says House.
