"The trip was awesome," exclaimed Nathan Costa. "We (Costa and his position coach Craig Handy) flew into Phoenix on Sunday the 20th and went straight to Tucson. "That afternoon, we met with the whole staff and then I sat down and watched some tape with Coach Canales. He was showing me how to break down certain formations. Then I went to lunch with him and Coach Robinson at Gentle Ben's.

"We went back to campus and I watched some of the players in the 7-on-7's and then I got taken on a tour of the campus in a golf cart. The campus was awesome and so was the weight room. The weight room is huge and very nice. After that, I sat down with Coach Canales and watched my highlight tape. He was showing me some of the things I could do better and breaking it down with me.

"Then we went back to Phoenix and stayed with a family friend. The next morning we headed to Tempe and got a tour of the campus. The stadium was real big and nice. They also have an awesome weight room there. The weight rooms at both schools are just unbelievable. After the tour I went to their spring practice. After that, I sat down and spoke with Coach (Arizona State quarterbacks coach Mark) Helfrich. It was good to speak with him and get a better idea of the situation there.

"I would say those are my top two now with Arizona being number one. I just felt that they showed a lot more interest in me. I also like Mississippi, Oregon and UCLA."

Cal, Fresno State and USC are three more schools Costa is interested in. "I am going to USC's Junior Day this Sunday and Cal's next Saturday. On April 30th I will be heading to Fresno State's."

The quarterback is awaiting his first offer.
