As a junior, Andy Keane played offensive and defensive tackle, and prefers defense. "Some schools have told me I could play on either side of the ball for them," he explains.

He was named first team all-league and conference on offense last year. "I am mean and nasty. I have good speed, quick feet and strength."

Keane has current written offers from Arizona, UCLA, Kansas, and Colorado State. He has a verbal offer from San Diego State. "My top two are UCLA and Arizona. I don't have a leader between them. I also like Cal, Notre Dame, Stanford, San Diego State, and Colorado State."

He will be visiting Arizona this weekend for the spring game. "I love talking with coaches Canales and Wolford on the phone because they are so intense. It seems like they have a really good coaching staff there and it would be a good place to be."

Keane will try to camp at Cal this summer.

He carries a 3.7 core GPA and has not scheduled to take either test yet. Keane is unsure of what he would like to major in at this time.
