Tevaga to Camp at Arizona

In a very rich year for offensive line talent in California, Sonny Tevaga stands out as one of the best. The big offensive tackle is one of the strongest linemen in the nation. The UA is on his favorites list and he'll be heading to Tucson in the near future.

"I am going there for the one-day camp with Sherman Miles and Richard Sherman," said Sonny Tevaga. "I have spoken with coaches (Mike) Stoops and Tui before and they seem like good guys. I am looking forward to getting there and seeing what they have to offer."

Tevaga transferred from La Mirada HS in La Mirada, California before his junior season at Dominguez. Due to CIF rules, he had to sit out his junior year so has not stepped foot on the gridiron in two years.

"I kind of got a bad deal from the CIF, so I was very upset I could not play. I will be ready for this year."

Tevaga feels he can do it all.

"I can pass block and run block - I do everything. I also have real good feet."

He is the younger brother of UCLA sophomore, Shannon Tevaga.

"I have always been a Bruins fan. I grew up liking them and have always wanted to go there."

It is no surprise UCLA is at the top of his list.

"They are my favorite. I also like USC, Oregon, Arizona and Utah."

He has no offers to date.

Tevaga will be attending the Scout.com All-American Combine in L.A., May 14th.
