If Deonte Thompson isn't the fastest football prospect in the country, he certainly is one of them. The Belle Glade, Fla., wide receiver currently tops the list for Scout.com Combine participants with a 4.29 forty in Jacksonville, Fla. Whether Thompson holds his position is something Scout.com users can follow on their favorite site's sortable Scout.com Combine results page.
Results are posted from Scout.com's combines in Akron, Ohio; Auburn, Ala.; Berkeley, Calif.; Champaign, Ill.; Durham, N.C.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Los Angeles; New Orleans; Starkville, Miss.; Tampa, Fla., and Waco, Texas. Also included is data from the U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio, Texas.

These results are sortable by location of combine, position, school of interest, degree of interest in a school, state and the assorted measurables, including forty, shuttle, vertical jump, broad jump and three-cone drill. Archived data, going back to 2001, also is posted.
"This is another effort on our part to offer our users the best and most accurate data, in the most informative and entertaining way possible," said JC Heckman, Scout.com's CEO. "We made a considerable investment to conduct our own combine series and, based on feedback from the players, parents and coaches, it has been a smashing success. Not only have we been conscientious about collecting accurate results from the best prospects available, we've posted those results within days, which is a first in our industry. We've also collected the results for our users, and not to sell to college coaches. Then our presentation, with all the ways the data can be sorted, takes it all to the next level."
"This is another example of why more people turn to Scout.com for football recruiting news than any other network. We have the best team in the industry," said Keith Haynes, Scout.com Product Manager.
The Scout.com Combines were overseen by Scott Kennedy, the network's South Regional Recruiting Editor and director of combines. His crew included Scout.com recruiting experts Miller Safrit, Bob Lichtenfels and Ryan Jordan, a representative from Competitive Edge Sports and Rance Gillespie, head coach at Peach County (Ga.) High School who will serve as the combines' quarterbacks coach.
Prospects performed before Scout.com experts and evaluators who help choose the U.S. Army All-American team and whose content appears before more than 36 million sports users per month at FOXSports.com, SportsIllustrated.com, SportsLine.com and Yahoo! Sports.
