Anderson in Tucson Today (free content)

Cody Anderson is beginning to see his stock blow up as he recently received his first offer from a BCS school after garnering a handful of offers from mid-majors. He impressed at the Arizona State camp last weekend and will now have the opportunity to impress the UA coaches, today. He tells us where the Cats will be on his list if an offer is indeed extended.

"I have offers now from UTEP, Wyoming, Colorado, Colorado State, San Diego State, and Utah," explained Anderson. "I am really open to all schools, but I would say my top three are Colorado, Colorado State and Utah. I do not have a favorite."

One of his parents has also mentioned a couple favorites. "My dad likes CU and he also likes CSU. My mom is open to all schools right now."

The Buffs and Utes are recruiting the hardest. Anderson will be at UA for a workout, today. "Coach (Mike) Stoops wants to get me there and see what I can do. I have been a fan of UA's for a long time - mainly a basketball fan. If they offered me a scholarship, they would be up there with my favorites."

Heading North, the Sun Devils will also improve their chances with Anderson if they offer. "Coach (Tom) Nordquist told me they really like me and that there is a possibility they will offer. That would help with my interest in them."

The only other camp plan for the big athlete as of now is the Washington State camp next week.
