You don't want to miss this!

It's not everyday that you get to see some of the nation's top basketball player run the floor with NBA superstars. Tucsonans will get just that chance.

The University of Arizona will be hosting an elite basketball camp the weekend of June 30 and some of the best players on the West Coast are slated to attend.

The best part of the weekend may be a non-camp event. Many of the campers will use some of their spare time to play pick-up against the camp instructors on Friday, July 1st at 2:45. Just who are the camp counselors? None other than UA alums including Mike Bibby, Andre Iguodala, Richard Jefferson, Luke Walton, Jason Gardner, A.J. Bramlett and Jason Terry.

Other current and former Cats are expected to be around for the pick-up session.

Best of all the pick-up session is open to the public and fans will be allowed into McKale Center to watch the action.

A finalized list of players is not available, but some of the top-tier talent slated to play include:

Chase Budinger, 6-7, SF, La Costa Canyon HS (Encinitas, CA)
One of the top recruits the Wildcat are pursuing in the 2006 class. Budinger makes his second visit to Tucson, one of three finalists for his services.

Brandon Jennings, 6-0, PG, Dominguez HS, Compton, CA
One of the best players in the 2008 class. The speedy point guard is an amazing talent and a player who could be perfect for ‘Point Guard U.'

Malik Story, 6-4, SG, Arteisa HS, Lakewood, CA
A terrific young shooter. Could be a player to watch on '08.

Jeff Withey, 6-10, C, Horizon HS, San Diego, CA
One of the best big men prospects on the West Coast. Could be an elite prospect by 2008.

James Harden, 6-3, SG, Arteisa HS, Lakewood, CA
Another promising player in the 2007 class. The high school teammate of Story is just starting to make a name for himself.

Alex Jacobson, 7-0, C, Mater Dei HS, Santa Ana, CA
Legit seven-footer who is just starting to develop his game. Jacobsen loves Arizona and will make his second visit to Tucson.

Drew Viney, 6-6, SF, Villa Park (CA) HS
A good, young 2007 prospect who is still growing. He too visited Tucson last fall.

Jerryd Bayless, 6-1, PG, Saint Mary's HS, Phoenix, AZ
The best prospect to come out of Arizona since Richard Jefferson, Bayless is a top 2007 target and one of the best guards in America.

A number of other recruits are slated to be in town. Some Arizona recruits, others legit D-I recruits. Several members of the national media should be on hand as well.

We'll have updates as more participants are verified.
